INTRO

Yunong Xie is a London/ China based visual artist, originally from China.  Yunong’s inspiration for her work lies in her significant interest in mysterious creatures and subjects, which also served as a catalyst for the launch of her own studio NONGWU in 2020. Yunong is always exploring new tools, techniques and media approaches. Her practice ranges from illustration, animation, poster, books, package design and fashion print design to create an eclectic yet coherent body of work.

The goal of the narrative in Yunong’ s piece is leading the imagination and curiosity of the situation that the viewers never had, she believes all the beauty of secrecy is the ambiguity between unknown and the real life.
